Schools have differing goals and expectations for Holiday Shop.
Many groups would like their Shop to have the added benefit of raising much-needed funds to the organization by planning for a rebate on sold items at the shop. Others want a simple, straight forward lowest price/highest value product for the kids. Either is fine and we offer you the flexibility to choose from three plans. You can preview the differing price points bu going to our Gift Selection and toggling the rebate levels.
- Choose your Rebate from these plans:
- 20% Rebate to your organization. Items and pricing are pre-loaded to include an approximate 20% mark-up so when you run the easy reconciliation, you’ll send us the cost of the items and you’ll keep the remainder. We still keep price points round and easy to calculate in our heads while shopping.
- 10% Rebate to your organization. Items and pricing are pre-loaded to include an approximate 10% mark-up so when you run the easy reconciliation, you’ll send us the cost of the items and you’ll keep the remainder. We still keep price points round and easy to calculate in our heads while shopping.
- No Rebate to the organization and the lowest possible item cost to your families.
Regardless of the rebate program chosen, your families will realize excellent value in these carefully chosen gifts. Remember, there’s no junk here.
When your school opts to make their Holiday Shop a fund raiser, we recommend that you make it clear to the families of your school that it’s a fund raiser for the org. This will help in two ways. First, families generally like to help organizations like yours – especially when the purchases are something they need anyway. And second, it will soften them to the dollar value of the items. You’ll still find our gift selection to be very reasonable even at the 20% Rebate level, but if one seems a couple of pennies higher than they could buy it at a discount store, there will be less likelihood of questions. We do our very best to keep the value very good at all rebate levels.
